Privacy Policy

PrimeLayer Trades ("PrimeLayer," "we," "us") provides software that connects to your own brokerage account and runs rule-based trading strategies on your behalf. We are a software provider, not a broker, bank, or investment adviser. This policy covers our website and application.

• Account details — your email address, and optionally a display name. We use passwordless sign-in, so we never collect or store a password.
• Brokerage API keys — the keys you connect for Alpaca or Coinbase. These are encrypted the moment they reach us and are only ever decrypted by our trading engine to place the orders your strategy decides on. They are never shown back to you, our staff, or any admin tool in plain text. See our Security page for the full breakdown.
• Payment information — if you subscribe, your card is handled entirely by Stripe, and crypto payments by Coinbase Commerce. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of your plan, status, and billing identifiers.
• Support messages — anything you send us through the in-app support desk.

• Usage & device data — pages visited, actions taken, browser and device type, and approximate location (from your IP address), collected to operate, secure, and improve the product.
• Trading activity — the strategies you configure, the bots you run, and the resulting orders, positions, and performance, so the product can function and show you your own history.
• Cookies & analytics — we use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel) to understand how people find and use the site and to measure our advertising. These may set cookies and share limited event data (for example, that a sign-up or purchase occurred) with those providers. You can block cookies in your browser; essential sign-in cookies are required for the app to work.

• To provide the service — running your bots, placing trades, and showing your results.
• To process subscriptions and payments.
• To send you account, security, and trade-related notifications.
• To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
• To measure and improve our marketing, including advertising performance.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your brokerage keys or trading data for anything other than operating your own account.

We share data only with the providers that make the product work, each under their own terms:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Vercel & Railway — application and engine hosting.
• Stripe & Coinbase Commerce — payment processing.
• Alpaca & Coinbase — the brokerages you choose to connect, which receive the orders your bot places.
• Anthropic — powers optional AI features (for example, market briefs and plain-language strategy building). Only the data needed for a given feature is sent.
• Resend — transactional and notification email delivery.
• Google & Meta — website analytics and advertising measurement.

We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can:

• Disconnect a brokerage key at any time — doing so deletes the encrypted key immediately and permanently.
• Manage or cancel your subscription from the billing page.
• Opt out of analytics cookies through your browser settings.
• Request a copy of your data, or its deletion, by emailing us at support@primelayertrades.com. Deleting your account removes your personal data, except records we must keep for legal or financial reasons.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We protect it with encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, and isolation of your brokerage keys as described on our Security page. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat live-money data with the care it demands.

PrimeLayer Trades is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
